Handpan Gathering

July 29 – August 2, 2026 · Atna, Innlandet, Norway

Music, Nature & Community in the Norwegian Forest

Join us for a unique summer gathering in the Norwegian forest, where music, nature and community come together.

Handpan Gathering Norway is created and hosted by Johan Zaar (JZ), founder of JZ SoundArt Handpans. Through his work as a handpan maker and community builder, JZ is devoted to bringing people together through music, nature and shared experiences. This gathering is a natural extension of that vision.

For five days, we come together in a peaceful forest setting to share concerts, workshops, yoga, sound journeys, sauna, nourishing meals and meaningful connection. Whether you are a musician, a beginner, or simply someone drawn to beautiful music and nature, you are warmly welcome.

Come as you are. Leave inspired, connected and part of a growing community.

You are warmly invited to arrive on the evening of July 29 to settle in and join us for the opening ceremony. We recommend departing on the morning of August 3, allowing time to fully enjoy the gathering and closing moments together.

This gathering may also be the last opportunity for some time. If Handpan Gathering Norway returns, it will likely take place no more than every second year, meaning the earliest possible edition after this would be 2028.

For this reason, the 2026 gathering feels especially meaningful, and we warmly invite you to be part of what may be a rare and beautiful moment for the handpan community in Norway.
